Really do consider the fly option. Just pre book the flight in advance as some airlines have limits on # of dogs allowed in cabin per flight. You will need an airline approve carrier(s) for both pups. Sounds complicated but really not too much so.

The other option is to pay for a courier to fly out with the pups. More expensive but might be worth the cost.

Here is my main concern. On the road for what 4 or 5 days with new pups what happens if they get sick? How will they travel in the car? Where will you find a vet in case of sickness?

A what 4 or even 5 hr flight is much preferable to 3-5 days on the road.
