Seeing feel your pain! Insurance, both dogs and human variety suck! You never know if you can trust them. Perfect example my mother, who has Medicare, went to the ER after a fall. They said they needed to admit her, and I told them only if it was a regular admission not one of those prrovision admissions that the patient ends up paying for and can't get rehab afterwards -- ugly catch 22 thing. Oh, they assured me it was a regular admission -- it wasn't, they lied! Like my son says "well we can never go back there again" - but we won it, but it was ugly and only because we had an "in".
So you are correct. They expend a great deal of effort to deny a claim. That being said, I have to say I have HealthynPaws, but have never had to use it. I dread the day I do need it however!
I mainly got it with cancer and such in mind.
