This used to happen to Hannah sometimes because she has long hair. My DH would give her treats that would constipate her. Hannah would get a bath and my DH would get in trouble. He meant well but finally got tired of hearing me fuss. Now he lets me decide what to feed my dogs. Diet could be the problem but I'd check with your vet if it persist.
