Many here do feed Natural Balance or Royal Canin - neither is too high in protein. Some of us here feed much higher proteins as we prefer it for our dogs, and they do great. So it depends upon what you prefer.
The foods I recommend are Primal, Natures Variety, Natures Logic, Wellness Core, Orijen/Acana, Solid Gold's Wee Bits or Barking At The Moon...
