I am reminded of the time one of my babies ran to the fence in our back yard, and instead of picking up the yellow tennis ball, he stood up on his hind legs and plucked something off the post on the fence and dutifully, brought it to me! Bad thing was, it was a wasp nest at least 3 inches across, absolutely teaming with live wasps, which he dutifully dropped into my hand, so I could throw it for him to fetch! Good thing was, neither one of us got even one sting!!!! There must have been at least 15 wasps on that nest.....and I am allergic to wasps! |
