I am not a breeder, but I would imagine to give proper advice they might need to know a few things:
1. Age of mother
2. Weight of mother
3. Weight of father
4. Breed of father
5. Any other complications
6. Any thing out of the ordinary ie discharge
7. Any environment changes recently
8. Any recent exposure to other dogs to acquire a virus or bacterial infection
9. First litter or not
I am sure they might need to know other stuff, but hopefully can come along to let you know that.
