I use gel to do my own nails....my husband bought me the light and everything a few years ago for Mother's Day. It took me a few months to keep from having it all around on my cuticles lol one thing is that if your polish is older it thickens and makes it harder to get a smooth coat on. Use a polish thinner or buy a new bottle of white.....walgreens carries sinful colors for less than $2 usually (i use them for my toes)...paint, top coat, allow to dry. Use a pointed q tip soaked with polish remover to clean up the edges ( or paint around cuticles with elmers glue, then peel off when done) Use tweezers to apply decals and then topcoat again. :-)
