Thanks for all the input on my question about the glucosamine. It gives me more questions to ask the Vet about other options. I do have to say though that the Gerber Water does make a difference for Miki. It's very inexpensive, .89 a gallon which lasts quite a while as Miki is just under 5 lbs. I recently told a friend of mine about it for her little one & she noticed a difference with the tearing right away.
So I will stick with that.
