I understand your nerves. I went through them this week. Even though i had my male yorkie Duncan neutered at 4 months, only 8 months ago, Thursday i had my female Yorkie who is 10 months old spayed and i was a nervous wreck. Both did wonderfully although my female has been in much more pain than my male was. When my male got neutered, i brought him home that night, he slept all night and when he woke up in the morning, the worse part was keeping him quiet and not running all over and away from the stairs and jumping. My female who was spayed 3 days ago, on the other hand, is still taking pain meds and isn't back to normal yet although she is getting there.
Make sure you buy some onesies so your baby can't get at his incision. They work very well and aren't as awkward as a collar.
I'm sure In a couple of days, your baby will be fine and back to normal. Good luck.
