My 13 year old has his dental a few months ago. I had all the bloodwork done first to make sure the organs were functioning well enough to handle anesthesia. He also was eating fine and not showing any signs of pain but I think they handle that well and we really don't know how bad they are feeling. He went in at 9am and they kept him till 4pm to make sure he was ok waking up and he lost 7 teeth. He Is like a puppy again after. So full of life and just much more happy. It's very important to take care of the teeth and keep them comfortable. Good luck!
