I am purchasing my first on-line puppy. I sent a deposit, but will be picking her up myself (a 12 hour drive) in a couple of weeks. I am really nervous about it being a scam so I am keeping my fingers crossed. I have talked to her on the phone, but I am a pretty trusting person. I recently read an email scam someone had posted which copies all the various emails, and I couldn't believe all the details the scammer went through! Well I am not buying from Nigeria or Africa so I hope all will turn out well, but you never know. I definitely think it is a risky situation for a lot of reasons. |
