Been there done that.....my first little yorkie took almost a year. But she was a rescue and I admit I wasn't the most consistent. However she did eventually learn and fortunately she went outside and used the potty pads.

I love the option of having my little one use the potty pads because she hated going outside in any weather other than sunny and 80 degrees. I hated getting up in the middle of the night to walk down three flights of stairs (townhouse). So potty pads worked perfectly for me for when her royal highness didn't want to go outside. However, if I took her outside and said "go potty" she had no problem going.

Word of caution on using the treats to get them to potty.....I'm sure most of us on here have experienced it. It is called fake potty....this is when these little buggers go outside fake pee to get a treat. Man was I outsmarted on that one....Brandi most of been fake peeing for months before I caught on to what she was doing.
