I recently started giving Miki a glucosamine supplement to help with her luxating patella, & have noticed that all of a sudden she is getting excessive tearing from her eyes. The tearing is matting up & creating a problem that is bothering her (& me
), even though I have tried to stay on top of it by cleaning her eyes often. I am unsure if I should try another brand of glucosamine as I would like to avoid surgery for her luxating patella. Has anyone else experienced this type of problem? By the way, I have been giving her the Gerber water to help prevent eye tearing (which I first learned about on YorkieTalk.com
) for probably 3 years & it has always helped until now. Any suggestions?
