If he doesn't start to urinate take him back to the vet. He may have to be catheterized. Our very first dog (a rescue) developed stones in the bladder. He had surgery but after a day or two I saw him leaning against the wall just looking at us. He was catheterized several times before I found a new (and improved) vet who ultimately had to do an additional surgery to correct the problem. Watch the color of the urine also. If it even has a pink tint, head back to the vet. Just watch him carefully. I hope that this is resolved and your baby is just fine.
