Hi and welcome to YT. I am sorry to hear that your baby is ill. I did a quick search to help you find different threads here on YT dealing with Liver issues. I would definitely get a 2nd opinion and more advice from your Vet and see if the issue can be managed just by diet or if you need to see a specialist and deal with it surgically. You might want to look into pet insurance. It may not be covered since you discovered it before getting the insurance but in the long run it is a wise move to have insurance. I got it when I first brought home Buster and he had some health issues and it paid itself off for the next ten years as Buster needed knee surgery and they paid 80% of the bill!
