I visited Priscilla this morning & sat with her for awhile. She's able to respond to my questions with the movement of her head, & looked me in the eyes most of the time I was there. I told her about all the prayers being said for her & told her when she's better she'll be very busy catching up with YorkieTalk & YorkieTalkers!
She was quite restless & the nurse came in & said she needed to stay still. I dug into my old tricks from my many years as a yoga teacher & did a long visualization with her. She responded really nicely & after awhile when she started getting restless again I asked if she'd like to do it again & she nodded "yes". Once again, a great response. (Gosh, why don't hospitals provide this for patients?)
Unfortunately the hospital is a 40-50 drive for me or I'd go there daily.
I told P I'd say "hi" to all from her. And I promised we'd keep up the prayers, good thoughts...........anything we can do. Thanks all! |
