Oh my word! She came home! I spent a lot of time on the phone.. I'm sitting on the couch and I thought I heard something thump the front door....open it and nothing. Called her name. Nothing. Went to the back porch called her name.....nothing. just as I'm closing the door she comes flying up the back steps! She's wet and exhausted and seems a little sore in her poor arthritic hips but she drank some water licked my hands and went into her kennel.....she has been sleeping in her kennel since 2! She's still wearing her collar but her tags are gone and the part of the broken lead is gone as well. I don't know where she was or what she was doing but I'm thankful she is home! I did a quick check over and other than her achy hips there's no visible signs of any injuries....now I just need to call everyone back and tell them she's home!
