Let him run, dig, hunt, he's a dog, not a doll lol, let him do all the fun stuff dogs do, it's the breed.
I adopted Cody when he was 2.5 y/o, he was a city boy, never off leash .He is now 4 y/o and lives in the country. Last summer was the first time ever he was off leash, he ran in the yard like a little Grey Hound and I can swear I heard him singing "Born Free" lol. Even tho Cody is 4 y/o, if it wiggles, crawls, flutters, he's on it, then in the mouth. I am constantly going after him if I see his nose to the ground sniffing. Take him out, socialize him with ppl and places like stores, let him play and roll in the grass, have fun with him. | Forgot to add, Cody is neutered he does not lift his leg, what I have found out is, if I walk him near a fence, wall or bush that another dog has peed on he WILL let his leg, so on walks I star far away from this.
