I am trying to teach Tessa the down command; however, not having any luck. The problem is when I lure her nose down with a treat from the sit position her bum pops up in the air. Yes, it took forever for Willie to finally get that butt down. I watched several youtube videos for suggestions. I can't really remember how he finally learned it, but I do remember that it is important to not treat or respond until she is all the way down.
