With puppies you have to baby proof your home, be very very careful in the kitchen when preparing food, make sure you drop nothing on the floor as they will snap it up in a blink of the eye. Same thing outdoors, watch where you walk him as what ever is on the ground they will eat it. Puppies are like 2 y/o babies, everything goes in their mouths. Even as adults they will sniff around and pick things up. Cody is 4 y/o and adopted, acorns are now dropping from the trees, country living is new to him, he wants to eat the acorns, I am constantly removing them from his mouth. They need to be watched, they are just like babies.
