I had Trinket spayed after her first heat and she is 1 1/2 yrs now and she is still under 3 lbs and did not cause her to get heavy or taller. My tiny 2 lb Chihuahua was spayed after her first heat which was around 11 months old and she is going on 3 yrs old now and it did not cause her to get heavier or taller she is still 2 lbs 4 oz
