Sure it's a great idea, and you'll be giving this pup a good loving home. You don't know where this baby can end up at if this lady does not want the pup to lick her son. Your daughter will have her puppy and you and the little Mrs will have yours. Thor is young and will accept another fur buddy, I suggest a meet and greet in a neutral area to see how this other dog gets along with Thor, even a meet on either ones front lawn. Both males must be neutered if not they will fight for domanancy. If the older one is ok with Thor, Go for it.
