People don't want the leg hiking because it can lead to them messing up the furniture in the home.
As for the neutering, I would say that neutering may make him less likely to mark his territory; but that is not promised.....nor is neutering a promise that they won't hike legs. I don't keep any unaltered pets...Heaven knows we have enough unwanted yorkies in the world. I won't be breeding and adding to that number.
