This is something that I always struggle with and is something that after 13 years am still trying to find the best way to tackle. Which is why my babies nails are typically longer than they should be.


I was told by my vet that as long as you see an oval shape when you cut your ok but as soon as you see a round shape that is when you need to stop. Also the more often you cut them the more the qwick will reseed.

Another great trick that I use is for those nails that are not a really dark black I use a flash light to see the qwick. What a great toll . . never have any misshaps with it.
