From what I gathered when the fancy hair ladies spoke (and I am not one so pardon my lack of knowledge and if I incorrectly represent the intent of the hair ladies when I share my interpretation) is that there are different kind of silicones. Some are not so bad and can be dissolved with water but others require a sulphate shampoo (or something similar) to dissolve the silicone which essentially strips the hair. For me personally, I think a good coating of silicone on my own hair isn't hurting but maybe creating a buffer while my broken frizz grows out. Lilah though, doesn't get her hair washed as frequently as I do. I will have to check it out, I have a bottle around here.
