I had posted great information about using Frontline Plus as well as Ivermectin for heartworming....I do not have that information at my fingertips, but it is on here someplace.....You can pull up J.R.Enterprises on the computer.....he sells it on line and tells you how to divide Ivermectin to give for heartworms....as well as Fleas with Frontline.....there are vets today that offer this information to their patients that are on a tight budget.....years ago, that is what we used, didnt have all the choices we have today, and the meds were not destined to break the bank....vets would give customers that needed "consideration" and a little help, a break on their heartworm med and flea meds....some still do today....but these drugs are often what they call "the bread and butter of the practice"....this guy at J.R.Enterprises gives you the formula to use for Ivermectin and FrontLine....that is what large kennels and pounds and shelters use because it is so cost effective when broken down like he instructs. I have been doing this now for quite some time....it just got cost prohibitive to use a vet office for my heartworm and flea preventative and these two drugs can be given to cats as well....
