Some of our yorkies eat way too fast inhaling their food. There are a lot of products in the market to slow them down such as Kyjen slo bowl and Dogit slow bowls. Money is tight for me because he is on prescription food and the ER bill from last year so I use an ice cube tray with smaller holes. They work perfectly and you can get them anywhere for cheap. Just press the food down a little bit if you want to make it harder. Here's a video:
