We had Wylie's knees done a couple years ago now, and we did both knees at the same time - and that's how I'd do it again too. I'd rather only put him/us through it one time, get it over with. It wasn't that bad at all, really. The first few days aren't the best, but you figure it out together

My vet works at a 9-vet practice, 2 of whom mainly do all the surgeries there. I went with a very experienced surgeon at the practice who has done a ton of LP's - he was non-Board certified.
