Brilliant pup!! Has sense enough to NOT go out into the yard, in the dark, at night!!! Start paper training him for night time potty breaks, if he can not/will not hold it all night. If it is a peeing problem, use a pad on him at night to catch his urine.
And give that little darling a big kiss and a pat on his head because even as a little dog, he has enough God given sense not to venture out alone, in the dark, unattended, at night!
