I recently found out that the Walmarts in my area are forbidden by store policy to ask if an animal is a service animal. They are to grin and bear it.

I guess the store is worried that the two legal questions will be overstepped and they will be sued, so they forbid any questions.

Federal law allows two questions, but some store policies forbid any questions and an employee can be fired for breaking store policy.
