My key broke but it was just the case and all the electrical stuff was ok. Was still $70 for a new lifetime case. My daughter had this happen and found her key on the Internet for $15.00 and then found a YouTube video on how to program it to her car. (A friend who was a car salesman told her about this cheaper way) Worked for her. I've heard the programming is the most expensive part cause they have you buy the short hairs on that.
