Dinky sits by the door and looks at me. He is 5 now, and at this point, he will come and get me to follow him to the door. He never did this in the first house I had him in, because the layout of the house meant I usually could not see him at the door. Once we move and that was not a problem , the door thing worked.
Good luck. I trained Dinky by taking him out every couple of hours or after he woke up or about 20 minutes after water intake. It took him a few weeks. He needed one refresher course, but he is a real champ about going potty outside now. |
