 Don't know if this will work or not, but fyi....
Can you open the door to the crate and push it up to a door that is open to the outside, so that she cannot get into the room, but can go to the outside? This worked well with our Yorkie. Or maybe push the open crate up to an open doggie door, while blocking her from being able to get anywhere else but outside?
