Yes, this is normal.


The loose stool issue could be as simple as stress from the change in their life and new surrounding. All pups go through an adjustment period and stress can cause loose stool none he less you may want to get them into your family vet for a wellness check. Meanwhile, if the pumpkin is not working you can use Pepto-Bismol. That's what is use and it works wonders. May need to call your vet to check for proper dose.
