I am speaking from experience because I did not listen to the vet and let Max have too much freedom when he broke 2 bones in his foot and he is not fully healed yet because of this. We are lucky because he is expected to make a full recovery so learn from my mistakes and dole out some tough love for a short period of time. We'll keep you in our prayers.
This is the part that KILLS us....breaks our hearts.....especially when they look at you all pitiful and sad.....and I hate to say this but you are going to have to do something to stop the jumping in the future or she will continue to do damage to joints and back. Good luck with your "retraining lessons" to curtail the jumping! This does so much damage to knees, hips, and backs on these babies! All these LPs that need surgery...majority of them are because the pups continually race around, jumping on and off furniture, patios, decks, etc.
