You can certainly try this new adjustment for him...he may catch on immediately, it may take him a while to grasp a concept foreign to him.....he may not like it at all and not work with you! You can also consider using belly bands to contain the urine produced by your little man....you just change this belly band (depending on the pad you use inside, how large your pup is, how much he pees at one time, etc) pee pad every 2-8 hours and you dont have to deal with peeing all over your house.
