He is so cute!!!!

I love the name! My husband has an English Setter and we though we were going to call him Jethro Gibbs to go with my English Setter I had at the time (she died of cancer last year). We got him and the name did not fit.

We were brainstorming names and first up was Winchester. I told my husband I could see my running down the sidewalk after him when he accidentally got out yelling Winnie! That name was vetoed. Next up was Remington. I liked the name, I told him I would have to run up the street yelling Remi, he said I was NOT calling his dog Remi. I liked it. So, he wanted Ruger. Our son was about 10 at the time and kept saying we were not calling the new dog Booger. We said, no, it is Ruger. We gave up and my husband named him Gatlin. He is 6 years old and our only big dog. He is joined by my 9 year old rescue Yorkie, Teek. Also 2 Yorkie mix puppies that are getting ready to turn 7 months very soon named Raksha and Rowan (siblings).

Good luck and please post lots of pics and ask lots of questions. They are always into mischief. Rowan is my thief. If there is something left out, he will grab it. I am constantly saying "Rowan, what do you have?" He turns to look at me with his innocent look and I tell him to give me what he has, he drops it on the floor and walks away. He is my baby though and sleeps with me, I woke up this morning and he was curled up in my arms. Teek is my old man, and my cuddle bug. He wants to always be touching me. He sleeps behind my knees and keeps me warm. Raksha is my daughter's dog and likes to be carried around like a baby and treated like she is a person and not a dog. All my Yorkies have their own personality but all are very cool in their own way.
