| I wish you much luck with your new puppy, but I am curious, as a fellow New Yorker, why you did not find a breeder within the Tri-State area?
While many on this site tout using the YTCA (Yorshire Terrier Club of America), I know one person who got a dog from a breeder on that list and her dog passed at a young age and she was very unsatisfied with the breeder. So, while it is not a fail safe, one of the breeders listed on the site for the NY area is Pamela Langstein. Also, I know someone who got a puppy from Claudia Pierro of Castleford Yorkies and Maltese and she was VERY HAPPY. I know that Ms. Pierro was not only a member of YTCA, but she used to be the President of the the Watchung Mountains Yorkshire Terrier Club in New Jersey. So, if you do not have a final commitment with this breeder, maybe you could look into contacting either of them?
Anyway which way you go, I hope and pray you get a happy, and most importantly a HEALTHY, puppy which brings you joy for many years to come. Cheers... Quote:

Also I personally do not find the price tag cheap at all even tho I'm from New York my first yorkie ran me about the same so I'm just taking it as it comes as I have found people selling pups for less and some selling for more I just went with what felt right | |
