I'm not aware of any "shot" that can help w/ a fungus, which is what yeast is. Are you talking about the Simplicef shot...? If so, that's anti-bacterial and will not help w/ yeast.
If I was dealing w/ chronic/ongoing yeast, I'd be asking to treat w/ Diflucan x 3-6 weeks. And I'd supplement not w/ yogurt, but with probiotics like Dogzymes from Natures Farmacy.
