What kind of stones? My teddy has calcium oxalate stones. A year and a half ago, he had them removed and I put him on a home cooked diet. He has not had a recurrence of stones (which they say is very unusual). Home cooking is an option. I used the veterinary nutritionist at Petdiets.com. One of the best food for calcium oxalate stones is Royal Canin s/o canned. My dog likes it, but I wanted to home cook. Good luck
