Winnie was like that too....I got great advice from our fellow yorkie lovers :-) dedication is what it takes! I wanted winnie to have long hair so I kept at it....I would brush her for a few minutes on the counter and then give her a treat....if she was sitting in my lap I would brush her. Then give her a treat. Now she is about a year and a half...she gets super excited when I get her groom bag out.
