I took Buddybear to the groomer every 2weeks to start. She only charged me minimal amount as to what he would tolerate. Gradually she was able to get more done and we spaced out the appointments and the $$$ went up.
NIGHTLY, we combed, brushed, etc. No he didn't like it at first then he decided he likes his back scratched. Now he almost begs to be brushed but at 14 months old we are still fighting with him to clip his nails. This too will get better.
The first groomer he had was awful. She made snotty remarks, he was only 3-4 months old. My friends said get a new groomer and I found the nicest young lady. We both love her.
Patience and consistency.....let him know you are the boss.
