Please be ultra careful and do not take any risks with your puppy. You cannot be too careful...Several years ago a friend lost a mother (Rottweiler) and her entire litter of 8 week old puppies to parvo----and from first inkling something was amiss to losing all of them took less than two days. Until the series of shots has been completed and your vet says she's "safe" keep your pup safely at home--no visiting canines either. Obviously I am waaay over the top on this particular issue; I just feel the more careful you are (for a couple of months), the safer your little one. Enjoy your teeny-tiny tot! And please forgive my hyper-ness on this...!
