The only major change I want to make is to remodel the half bath to full bath on the main floor. Also, it's getting harder for my mom to walk up the stairs so we're thinking of taking up part of the "dining room" and putting the bed there. Have you looked into a chair lift for the stairs? It might be less expensive.
Honestly, I think the first thing I would do is replace the fence so the pups can't escape
