I just talked with my breeder last week.
Ruger is 8 months. Breeder said to switch @ 1 year with the same brand but in adult form.
Oh, & also Ruger weighs 5.5 lbs. & I can feel his ribs and spine very well.
He is real active, 100 miles a minute. Starting about 6 months he started eating less. I leave food out and he gets healthy treats. I just mashed a banana with plain yogurt put it in round ice trays. When frozen goes into his Kong.
