 Yorkie Newbie!
Help! Alpha princess being aggressive! I am a brand new yorkie breeder. I have done my research and thought I was prepared for pretty much anything. But, I've had my female (Phoebe) since March. She is incredible!! Very cute and a cuddly. She is now 9 months old. We got our first male (Picasso) parti yorkie a couple days ago and she is NOT happy with a new pup in her house! She is visibly jealous if we pay him any attention. They play fight...But, she also gets very aggressive. She will nip at him. She has only ever nipped when she gets groomed and has matting. Should I just let them figure it out? Or, should I be worried that we have bad behaviors on our hands and have to intervene? PS. They are both quite spoiled. He's a very laid back 10 month old and she is a very energetic and playful 9 month old. They both sleep in our bed with mild territorial issues...but nothing I can't handle. |
