Welcome to Yorkie Talk. Itchy skin can be caused by cold weather dryness, especially when we are heating our homes.

Lots of other potential causes too. We have a water quality problem here that is drying out our doggies and human hair.

Hair products -- maybe try a different shampoo and conditioner. Make sure you rinse out the shampoo really, really well. Sometimes it helps my Teddy to do a rinse with a little vinegar mixed in the water (do not get it in the eyes).

If the itching is severe, definitely check in with the vet. Sometimes itchy skin can be secondary to other health issues.
