Default Adopted Yorke.Questions

Hello YT,
I apologize if this post is too long,I just really want to share

I am a new (and very happy) Yorkie parent. Layla is a sweet 2 year old, 7 pound, said to be Beiwer Yorkie (I have some doubts about it, but it doesn't really matter). I got Layla from a family who loved her, but was not able to give her proper care and attention. She was not much up to date on her vaccines and is still not neutered. I did not get much information about her as it was somewhat hasty adoption and I feel like her previous owner was a bit ashamed of giving Layla up and not taking much care of her. It is only known that they tried to breed her, but her puppies had dramatic physical issues not compatible with life.
I took Layla to the vet the very next day and she got so many compliments on how absolutely healthy she is, no ear infections and her poop sample came back clear as well. I say that, because my concern was that she was scratching her year a lot.
Layla has now been with me for a bit over 2 weeks and has adjusted perfectly to her new home. She has few accidents every now and then, but we are working on her potty training (previous owner would just let her roam in the yard for hours) and her walking on a leash a little better (she has never really done that). She is playful, loving and has a great appetite!

She is taking on crate training pretty well (may occasionally cry for a minute), but she sleeps there comfortably trough the night.

My biggest concern with her at the moment is her bitting/nipping on her hind legs constantly and while ear scratching has dramatically subsided she now started to try catching around her eyes and either with paws or rubbing on the carpet. I talked to the vet about it and she told me to wait a bit and see if it is behavioral issue due to stress, but after watching her for a week I just feel like it is more of an allergy.

I would love to hear your advise and input!

Also here are 2 pictures of Layla. One the day we got her and another from 2 weeks after
