I have always had larger yorkies, from 9 lbs to 17 lbs, my adopted boy is 12 lbs, when he jumps there's a loud thud, that's a lot of weight on their hips and knees jumping down. Your baby not wanting to jump to me sounds like something is going on there, I would deff. have it checked out. This new boy of mine jumps like a kangaroo, and jumps high. I stop him immediately as he comes down hard on his hind legs with his12 lbs. I know he will blow out his hips with his weight.
