There are a few Petlands in Vegas, and many mom and pop pet shops too. I doubt the state will do anything about in any time in the near future. I was so happy when CA started banning pet shops that sold pets.

I get so made when I see the "sign holders" on the sidewalk for Petland. "Come play with puppies!" Ugh. I want to throw trash at the sign holder but I know they are just holding a sign.
